SiloTreat Cotta is an impregnator for porcelain, terracotta and clinker, which forms colourless protection and prevents water penetration. SiloTreat Cotta granite impregnator facilitates the cleaning and maintenance of treated surfaces.
How to apply the impregnator for granite, porcelain, terracotta and clinker SiloTreat Cotta?
SiloTreat Cotta impregnators are applied by spraying with airless spray guns (HVLP machines) or by sprayer (for smaller areas). When impregnating highly polished surfaces, such as porcelain (such as porcelain sinks), the product is applied by spraying, waiting a few seconds, and then polish with a towel.
The product is applied by hand.
Can I also impregnate the granite joints with SiloTreat Cotta?
If the joints are cement-based, the SiloTreat Cotta impregnator is suitable to be impregnated with it.
My terrace is leaking, can I impregnate it to insulate it?
If you have damaged or missing waterproofing, these impregnators can not replace its function. Even if you apply an impregnator, the effect will be short-lived and unsatisfactory. In case of compromised or missing waterproofing, we recommend that you solve the problem as a whole by applying a new layer of waterproofing, in combination with Bikol LeaFix waterproofing tape.
How often should the SiloTreat Cotta impregnator for porcelain, terracotta and clinker be applied?
Depending on the type of surface you are impregnated with, the environment in which it is exposed, and the impregnation and cleaning agents used to maintain the impregnated surface, we recommend applying the products every 2-3 years or when the surface begins to get wet. The impregnator for granite, porcelain, terracotta and clinker SiloTreat Cotta acts with accumulation, which allows each subsequent impregnation to be significantly lower than the previous one.
