The SiloTreat Tiles clay tile impregnator is based on oligomeric propyl siliconate / silicate. SiloTreat Tiles form colourless protection (without wet effect), which does not allow water falling on the tiles to penetrate into their structure. Apart from being an impregnator, SiloTreat Tiles is also used as a consolidator.
How to apply the SiloTreat Tiles tile impregnator?
SiloTreat impregnators are applied by spraying with airless spray guns (HVLP machines). In this way the products will penetrate evenly and deeply into the tiles.
The product is applied by hand.
Can I apply the impregnator on already impregnated tiles?
It is not recommended because most impregnating products seal the surface of the tiles and thus prevent the penetration of SiloTreat molecules into depth.
How often should the SiloTreat Tiles tile impregnator be applied?
Depending on the type of clay tile and the method of impregnation, we recommend that the products be applied every 5-10 years or when the surface starts to get wet. The SiloTreat tile impregnator acts with accumulation, which allows the consumption to be significantly lower with each subsequent impregnation than the previous one.
