Description

Intervention methods against rising damp and stop leaks

One of the most common problems with masonry structures is capillary rising moisture and the transfer of water-soluble salts and surface crystallization.

In order to restore the old look and function of the structure, very often there is a need for measures to remove moisture that penetrates the walls. This can be achieved by injecting into the masonry in several steps, so as to stop the capillary rising moisture and prevent its reappearance.

The transfer of moisture through the capillaries will be removed, interrupting its path from the source to the walls.

More information: "Injection in masonry to prevent capillary moisture", according to WTA 4-4-04 / D.
