Description
The construction site presents a complex combination of slope stabilization using anchors and a concrete retaining wall supporting Gurko Street, along with a mixed-type foundation system. The foundation includes steel piles whose top ends are embedded in the foundation slab of the future single-family house.
Due to the necessity of using single-sided formwork, the AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip waterproofing system became the only viable solution to address the issue of seeping water through the fractured rock mass surrounding the structure.

The AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip membrane is exceptionally easy to work with, simple to install, and allows for precise cutting and adaptation to complex surfaces.
Combined with auxiliary products, it provides absolute protection against groundwater penetration.
The AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip membrane does not require the application of a protective concrete layer. On the contrary, direct contact between the structural concrete and the membrane is not only possible but highly recommended.
Its exceptional strength and ability to self-heal its waterproofing properties even after puncture or cutting make AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip a cost-saving solution by eliminating the need for protective concrete.
After casting the foundation slab, the AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip membrane was installed on the remaining formwork.
A connection was made between the membrane laid prior to the slab casting and the membrane installed afterward. In this way, AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip ensures continuity of the system, enveloping the structure from all sides and adhering tightly to the cast-in-place concrete.

The membrane was also fastened directly to the retaining wall of the street by attaching a batten to the concrete – illustrating the flexibility and versatility of the system in enabling innovative technical solutions.

The photos were taken several years after the completion of the rough structure. There are no leaks through the construction waterproofed with AMPHIBIA 3000 Grip.
