SiloTreat® WOOD is an impregnator for wood and wood products. The product prevents water and other liquids (coffee, wine, etc.) from penetrating the surface. In addition, it facilitates easy cleaning of treated surfaces by giving them hydrophobic and oleophobic properties.
SiloTreat® WOOD maintains the good appearance of the wood without changing it. It keeps the surface’s ability to "breathe", preserves the natural aroma of the treated surface, protects it from the growth of microorganisms and creates a layer of protection against negative atmospheric influences.
The product does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOC).
Applicable in interior and exterior.
SiloTreat® WOOD can not be applied on varnished, painted or wax-treated surfaces, as they do not allow the product to chemically bond with the wood.

Application method:
- SiloTreat® WOOD may be applied by brush, paint roller, spraying (hand sprayer or airless machine) or by immersion (from 30 seconds to 5 minutes).
- The hydrophobic effect occurs 4 to 6 hours after the product application, at which time the impregnated surface should be completely protected from water and dirt.
- The wood of the spruce, pine and some others absorb more product and remain protected for a longer
period. - Non-absorbing wood from African forests, oak and other high-density woods absorb less SiloTreat® WOOD, resulting in shorter protection.
Indicative Consumption*:
- Wood in exterior - 100 - 200 ml / m2 *
- Wood in interior - 50 - 150 ml / m2 *
