MasterLife ADH 158 is an additive for building mortars, designed to improve adhesion characteristics to the substrate.

MasterLife ADH 158 is a water-based emulsion of synthetic copolymers, specifically intended for use in cement-based mixtures and mortars in general.

Areas of Application:

It is used as an additive in building mortars to increase adhesion to the substrate. This adhesion is significantly improved due to the high bond strength of finely dispersed polymers, which, in combination with cement, create a strong bond between mortar and substrate.

Examples of Application:

• Plastering Mortar
  For producing plaster for vertical application with high adhesion, MasterLife ADH 158 should be dosed in a 1:4 ratio with the mixing water; then, the mixture of water and MasterLife ADH 158 should be added to sand and cement.
• Screeds and Adhesion Suspensions
  In this case, the best mixing ratio for MasterLife ADH 158 to water is 1:1.

Dosage:

MasterLife ADH 158 should be dosed proportionally to the mixing water in accordance with the required adhesion characteristics to be imparted to the mixture.

The optimal dosage is 1:4 in relation to the mixing water; other mixing ratios may also be used depending on the specific applications (see table). Different doses are possible depending on working conditions, and in all cases, after consultation with technical personnel.

Usage Instructions:

MasterLife ADH 158 should always be mixed with the mixing water before sand and cement are added. Pre-mixed MasterLife ADH 158 and mixing water, according to the selected recommended dosage, should be added to a concrete mixer in the necessary amount, along with the other ingredients of the building mortar.
It is recommended to mix the solution for at least 3 minutes.

MasterLife ADH 158 is compatible with all types of cement in accordance with EN-UNI standards.
