BarChip Fibre Reinforced Concrete Flooring

Founded in 1864, many regarded Heineken as the world's greatest beer. In 2019, the company produced over 24 billion litres of beer across 165 breweries in more than 70 countries. One of those breweries was Ponta Grossa, PR, Brazil. Heineken is one of the largest brewers in Brazil with around 22% of the market.

In 2020 Heineken began a US 183 million expansion of the Ponta Grossa, PR plant to increase production capacity by 75%. The expansion included new facilities and upgrades to the process control systems. BarChip MQ58 was used to replace steel reinforcement in over 15,000 m2 of concrete flooring in the newly constructed facilities.

BarChip MQ58 бяха предпочетени като алтернатива на стоманената армировка в над 15 000 m2 бетонови настилки в новопостроените съоръжения в завода за бира Heiniken, Бразилия..

BarChip has a long history in Brazil, reinforcing the flooring works of John Deere, LG, Sony, Amazon, Kellogs, Hitachi, Assai, Herval, BMW and more. BarChip MQ58 is a preferred option for several key reasons:

  • It reduces construction times by eliminating the need to install steel mesh.
  • It eliminates the risk of corrosion and concrete cancer.
  • It delivers a fibre free surface finish to concrete flooring works.
  • Most importantly, BarChip reduces overall costs and makes the construction process faster, easier and safer.

*Consume in moderation - the beer, not the fibre. :)
