A prestigious reference for one of the most appreciated products of the DRACO range: the DRACOBIT clogging premix.
The flooring of the container handling area of the Port of Thessaloniki, the second largest port in Greece in terms of size and importance, was restored with the DRACOBIT system.
The high and constant dynamic loads due to the movement of the goods, combined with the strong chemical aggression of the salts, the bad weather and the high temperatures of the summer period, have determined the premature and irreversible deterioration of the existing flooring; the restoration involved 200,000 m2 of surface area constantly subject to intense and heavy traffic and exposed to the marine environment, ventilation and bad weather.
The semi-flexible bituminous-cement flooring made with the DRACOBIT clogging premix once again proved to be up to speed: passable after only 48 hours, quick to perform and with high mechanical performance, it remains the most effective solution in extreme conditions of use.
