PLASTIVO 250 is a highly flexible, polymer-modified, two-component waterproofing coating for protecting structures subjected to negative and positive hydrostatic pressure.
PLASTIVO 250 is suitable for waterproofing foundations, basements, underground garages, swimming pools and tanks, including drinking water tanks. It can be applied to concrete, cement blocks and previously levelled mixed masonry subject to moderate settlement and/or structural movement.

For waterproofing against negative and positive hydrostatic pressure in structures made of concrete, cement blocks or mixed masonry previously levelled with suitable VOLTECO mortars.
PLASTIVO 250 is particularly recommended for:

Application:
PLASTIVO 250 is applied in two coats with a total thickness of approximately 2 mm – approximately 1 mm per coat – using a roller, brush or trowel. Spray application is also possible with suitable equipment.
The substrate must be sound, clean and properly prepared. Active water leaks must be stopped beforehand, and joints, cracks and penetrations must be treated using the appropriate system products.
Apply the second coat after a minimum of 6 hours, once the previous coat has completely dried and hardened. The application temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C.
For applications under positive water pressure where there is a risk of cracking, FLEXONET or XNET reinforcement mesh is recommended. Embed the mesh into the fresh first coat, overlapping adjacent sheets by 10 cm.
Important: minimum waiting times after application
- 24 hours before backfilling
- 3 days before applying a protective layer or finish
- 7 days before filling swimming pools, tanks and other structures with water
These times apply at +20°C and 60% relative humidity and may be longer at low temperatures or high humidity.
For applications involving drinking water, wash the surfaces with running water before filling.
Do not add water to the mixture or apply to water-saturated substrates. The maximum thickness of an individual coat is 1.5 mm. Protect the freshly applied product from rain and follow the complete instructions in the technical data sheet.
Consumption:
3.5–4 kg/m², depending on substrate roughness.
